Dorostkar Park
Dorostkar Park is a suburban west Reno park with a variety of recreational opportunities. Its trails are primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips. Dogs are welcome, but they should be leashed. There are five picnic tables near the parking lot, and benches are also located along the trails. The park is accessible year-round. Visitors to the park can enjoy birdwatching. They can observe black-billed magpies perched in the willows and mallards swimming near the shore. The Truckee River is low this September, but is flowing again following the recent rain. The park is also accessible by bike.
